Objective
The gap assessment of your quality, environmental or any other ISO management system will identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to drive improvements in:
- Cost of maintenance of the management system,
- The structure of the documentation system,
- Process interactions,

- Quality of management system procedures and instructions.
The process:
Depending on the size of your company and the management system, the gap assessment may take between two and three days. You may choose to expand the assessment duration if your organization wants to expand the analysis of the system beyond initial objectives. To perform an effective gap analysis, your organization will ensure that:
- Key players in the management system are available for the duration of the assessment: Quality Manager, documentation management personnel, and others.
- Your organization provides your consultant with access to your documents via Dropbox, SharePoint access, or e-mail.
We will examine the quality of your documents against the twenty-seven wastes and deficiencies in typical procedures. We will report our findings and opportunities using our Lean-O-Meter.
